Ángeles M. Valenciano

Angeles Valenciano is CEO of the Texas Leadership Consortium and former CEO of the National Diversity Council (NDC), where she became the first female CEO and strengthened partnerships across business, academia, and the community. A seasoned strategist with 20+ years in human resources, diversity, and organizational change, she also served as president of the Healthcare Diversity Council and executive VP of the NDC, overseeing growth in California, Colorado, and Arizona.
As TXLC’s first executive director, she shaped policy and operations, leading the creation of the Women in Leadership Symposium, now a global event held in 12+ states and several countries. Previously, she directed diversity strategy at 84 Lumber, supporting business expansion into Mexico and Canada. At JPMorgan, she led leadership development and global diversity initiatives.
A graduate of Instituto Tecnológico de San Luis Potosí, she holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certificate from Villanova. Fluent in English and Spanish, she serves on St. Mary’s University’s Science, Engineering, and Technology board and advocates for workplace inclusion. She lives in San Antonio, TX, with her sons.
